Love is akin to the awareness of profound intimacy. Like a fire, this intimacy burns away our identification with image and the false notion that we are somehow "special" or "separate" from each other. Affirming our sense of relatedness with the whole, true love leaves no room for pride, arrogance, or ambition. Love awakens in us the awareness that the Self extends far beyond the narrow confines of our physical bodies. We are in every blade of grass!
