Each
class is 1 & 1/2 hours, conducted in a professional
manner led by a qualified, certified experienced Yoga
instructor. Each instructor will have a slightly differing
approach to their presentation and style however classes
will typically begin in a quiet seated posture accompanied
by breathing exercises for centering and grounding.
Traditionally an instructor will lead the group into
a series of "asanas" or postures which facilitate the
flow of vital energy through the body, irrigating the
entire system and stimulating muscles deep into the
core while massaging the internal organs.

These
postures can seem a bit challenging to a beginner who
is stiff or out of shape, however, the feeling of renewal
and regeneration afterward is quite invigorating and
sometimes even blissful! The class will then be led
into soothing stretches and twists, ending with a deep
relazation or "savasana".
There
are a multitude of benefits derived from the practice
of Hatha Yoga, but what ever the reason one is led onto
the path of Yoga, they ultimately find themselves in
a beautiful state of oneness with the mind, body, and
spirit. One of the side effects of practicing Hatha
Yoga is that with regular practice and discipline, you
will find yourself in an icredible state of health and
wellness!

Private
and semi-private sessions are available for Anusara
Basics, Yoga Therapy and special needs. Great for focus
on specific pain or tightness in knees, hips, back,
wrists, shoulder, etc! Learn specific techniques, you
can use in your practice to target these issues and
aid the healing process.
